The Prosser family has been a prominent name in the building and development industry for over 80 years. It all began with Ron Prosser, a first-generation builder who started with a small joinery shed on Beach Road in Bunbury. With his dedication and hard work, Ron expanded his operations, eventually establishing a large sawmill on Strickland Street. As time went on, he shifted his focus to home building, founding Auden + Prosser Builders and Prosser Homes.
Continuing the family legacy, Steve Prosser, a second-generation builder, further developed the business. Under his leadership, Prosser Homes and
R+M Prosser + Son became renowned as an exceptional “off the plan” home builder in Bunbury. Over time, Steve expanded the company’s capabilities to include commercial building.
Now, with Dave Prosser, as third generation builder, at the helm of Prosser Built, the focus remains on providing a personal level of service and delivering buildings that truly stand out. Dave is committed to upholding a tradition of good building practices, ensuring that every structure crafted by Prosser Built exudes excellence. With a meticulous eye for detail, Dave oversees every process to maintain a consistently high level of quality.
Dave Prosser

Dave’s interest in building blossomed from his childhood experiences of assisting his father at the joinery workshop and local building sites. This passion drove him to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, ultimately obtaining his carpentry and joinery trade certification as well as his builder’s registration. Dave dedicated several years to working with a Tier 2 commercial builder in Perth, where he contributed to large-scale commercial construction projects. Additionally, he gained valuable experience by working overseas in Oslo, Norway, specifically on the new Nasjonalmusee. During his time there, Dave acquired extensive knowledge in construction management, contract administration, and technical building expertise, all of which he now integrates into his current projects. Calling Ferguson Valley home, he carries on the family’s 80+ year legacy in the building industry through his company, Prosser Built.

Josh Mewburn
Project Manager / Building Practitioner
Josh is a dedicated Project Manager who possesses a strong passion for design and the management of large-scale, complex projects, spanning from concept to construction delivery. With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, he has worked on various projects including public spaces, commercial towers, and retail establishments. Noteworthy accomplishments in his recent career include successfully working through the design and approvals process for the Forrestfield Shopping Centre refurbishments, as well as developing the design through ECI for the $500M Karrinyup Shopping Centre Redevelopment, effectively transitioning it into the delivery phase. Throughout his role as both Project Manager and Project Coordinator for these projects, Josh has consistently demonstrated a high level of motivation and unwavering commitment to achieving construction excellence.
